Practice Shots
Here we took a lot of practising of shots. The two main shots that we needed to practice was the floating or dragging shot. We used a skateboard placed under us, and tried to move down the corridor without the skateboard being visible. We got this idea from Titanic (1997) when the ship is sinking all the passengers are flying down using skateboards under them. The other shot we took a lot of time practising on was the final shot of the trailer. The dramatic jump. We put a safety matt under the camer and practised jumping onto it, by making the illusion that we were being thrown by a paranormal ghost. We also had to make sure that the safety matt couldn't be seen when landing.
